5500 Years of Brewing

3900 BCE to 1600 ACE

This is a project that has captured my imagination for many years. Originally, this project began at 1700 BCE, but after reading the Hymn to Ninkasi several years ago, which is estimated to having been written around 3900 BCE, I decided to back up my timeline. My project is to re-create one batch of beer, wine, mead, or other fermented beverage for each century and location where possible.
